LPC Mission Statement
We, the members of the Lewes Presbyterian Church, are part of the Church of Jesus Christ, commissioned to be His witnesses at home and throughout the world.  We express this witness within the Reformed faith and Presbyterian form of government.  We believe that the Church exists where the Word of God is preached and received and the sacraments administered according to Christ's institution.  We worship God as a fellowship of believers in the redemptive work of Jesus Christ.  We accept the authority of Scripture, seeking through study to understand God's purpose for our lives.  We nurture one another in community, affirming and accepting our diversity.  We minister individually, corporately, and ecumenically in Christ's name to people in need.  We encourage faithful, responsible stewardship of all God's gifts.  We depend on the presence and power of the Holy Spirit to fulfill our purpose.

It is so important for the LPC membership to worship & live out their Christian witness in harmony. Three important documents have been drafted by the pastor and the session and approved by the congregation. Please take time to read each document below if you are considering LPC as your church home. As you read each document, we pray the Holy Spirit continues to lead you here to a believiing, growing and sharing Christ's love within our church family and community.
